Bandaged Bear Day – 26 March 2012
The Bandaged Bear Appeal™, held during March each year, is the signature public fundraising appeal for The Children's Hospital at Westmead.
All proceeds raised from the sale of Bandaged Bear DayTM merchandise and the donation of funds from events and personal donations go directly to The Children's Hospital at Westmead. The funds are directed to the areas of the Hospital most in need at the time. Every dollar we receive goes directly toward supporting the amazing work done at the Hospital and, ultimately, impacts the lives of sick kids and their families.

  • $40 would allow a family to stay overnight at the Hospital with their sick child
  • $45 could pay for a nurse to a visit a child with Cystic Fibrosis to help them administer their medication
  • $50 could pay for an hour's worth of research into life-saving treatments
  • $100 could pay for life-saving drugs for a critically ill child
